LSP reporting two road closures due to high water

According to LPSO, LA 308 is CLOSED from Percy Brown Road to St. Charles By-Pass Road. Motorists must detour to LA 1.
Several streets throughout the pariah are also impassable due to water. Barricades or deputies are posted in many locations. DO NOT drive around barricades. If you approach areas with standing water and are unsure about the depth or location of any ditches, DO NOT attempt to drive through it.
LPSO understands many people will be driving to work or school this morning, but PLEASE use common sense and DRIVE SLOWLY. As little as six inches of water can cause you to lose control of your vehicle. If you are headed out to any other part of the state, visit www.511la.org for road closures.
