Today, the Louisiana Department of Health is reporting the total number of cases has risen to 392,416. That’s 3,868 more cases since yesterday. 343,583 are confirmed; 48,833 are probable.

 

The state is reporting 67 new deaths, bringing the total to 8,688 deaths. 8,152 are confirmed; 536 are probable.

 

The total of presumed recovered as of 1/25/21 is 344,321, which is 24,296 more than last week.


 

Lafourche Parish is reporting, 8,059 cases. There are 6,368 confirmed and 1,691 probable. That’s 93 new cases since yesterday. They are reporting 175 deaths; 167 are confirmed and 8 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Jan. 14-Jan. 20 is 9.90%, up 2.06% from the week prior, which was 9.70%. Incidence is 449.47.

 

Terrebonne Parish is reporting 8,392 cases. There are 6,888 confirmed and 1,504 probable. That’s 61 more cases since yesterday. They are reporting 174 deaths; 163 are confirmed and 11 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Jan.14-Jan. 20 is 10.40%, down 11.11% from the week prior, which was 11.70%. Incidence is 420.64.

 

Statewide, there are 1,625 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 203 are on ventilators. That’s 21 less patients since yesterday, and 14 less on ventilators.


 

The total of tests reported today is 5,200,248, which is 41,475 more tests than yesterday. There are 4,859,209 molecular tests and 341,039 antigen tests.

 

There have been a total of 95,129 tests in Lafourche (84,651 molecular and 10,478 antigen) and 93,068 tests in Terrebonne (85,571 molecular and 7,497 antigen). That’s 609 more tests in Lafourche and 474 more in Terrebonne since yesterday.
