Today, the Louisiana Department of Health is reporting the total number of cases has risen to 244,078. That’s 2,774 more cases since yesterday. 230,029 are confirmed; 14,049 are probable.

 

The state is reporting 23 new deaths, bringing the total to 6,524 deaths. 6,252 are confirmed; 272 are probable.

 

The total of presumed recovered as of 11/30/20 is 202,891, which is 10,403 more than last week.


 

Lafourche Parish is reporting 4,934 cases. There are 4,503 confirmed and 431 probable. That’s 52 new cases since yesterday. They are reporting 141 deaths; 136 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 38.6% from the week prior, which was 5.70%.

 

Terrebonne Parish is reporting 4,685 cases. There are 4,444 confirmed and 241 probable. That’s 48 more cases since yesterday. They are reporting 139 deaths; 134 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 54.9% from the week prior, which was 5.20%. Total recovered is 3,764 as of 11/25/20.

 

Statewide, there are 1,325 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 142 are on ventilators. That’s 37 more patients since yesterday, and 8 more on ventilators.


 

The total of tests reported today is 3,645,006, which is 26,111 more tests than yesterday. There are 3,527,852 molecular tests and 117,154 antigen tests.

 

There have been a total of 65,998 tests in Lafourche (62,894 molecular and 3,104 antigen) and 63,348 tests in Terrebonne (61,427 molecular and 1,921 antigen). That’s 568  more tests in Lafourche and 637 more in Terrebonne since yesterday.
