A Houma native continues to impress as a United States Army Officer.

Captain Kenneth St. Germaine Jr., the son of Kenneth St. Germaine Sr. and Stacey Eschette, recently attended the Army Medical Department’s Captains Career Course (CCC).

The course was the final requirement for St. Germaine to ascend to his new post as captain, which occurred on May 1.

Prior to that, he was a First Lieutenant.

While at CCC, St. Germaine excelled in all of the curriculum.

He ranked fourth out of 154 officers, earning the distinction of an honor graduate.

The course completion is one of many feathers in St. Germaine’s cap.

He’s served in Iraq, South Koreo and Afghanistan during his 12 years of quality service.
