Since 1944, Galliano-based Kief Hardware has provided customers with all of their neighborhood shopping needs.
But in 2017, the store has plans to take things to the next level.
Kief held its grand re-opening on New Years’ Day with a community-wide celebration, which featured food, drinks, music and fun for all.
The grand re-opening came after the store closed for most of December to remodel.
Now, the business is shifting gears and will feature a Sears Hometown Store within its walls – a business that opened on the grand opening date.
Also coming soon to the business will be a Hi-5, which is currently being carved into the location’s walls.
Kief Hardware has been in Lafourche Parish for more than 70 years, and store owner James Cabirac said the renovations and change were done to best serve the people of the area who rely on the business for quality customer service and the latest in hardware offerings.
