The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal announced that the statewide burn ban issued on March 25 has been lifted effective immediately.
“Please remain aware of and compliant with any local restrictions on open burning,” reads a post by the State Fire Marshal. “Thank you to everyone who cooperated in order to be considerate of your neighbors who are spending more time at home due to #COVID19!”
