From the State of Louisiana DOTD:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that hurricane debris crews are planning to break from December 22, 2021, to January 3, 2022, for the holiday. Following the holiday, crews will make the final passes along state routes in St. Charles, Lafourche, and Terrebonne parishes.

The department encourages citizens to have all remaining hurricane debris ready for pickup after Christmas, as crews will not return to a route once pickup is complete. Any debris placed on state roadways after the final pass has begun or after final completion will have to be removed through normal means and will not be removed by state contractors.
