The Louisiana Department of Education is releasing a Family Engagement Survey designed to inform school systems and building leaders about their success at engaging parents in their child’s education journey.

According to a release, when used in conjunction with other data, the online survey provides administrators and educators the opportunity to recognize strengths in family engagement practices and create strategies for improvement to the school system for the 2022-2023 academic year.  The survey is designed to be completed by parents once per school and not per child.

If the parent or guardian has children in multiple schools, they should complete one survey per school, and if all children attend the same school, the survey is only to be completed once.

Click here to complete the survey. The deadline for submissions is May 28.
