Today, the Louisiana Department of Health is reporting the total number of cases has risen to 241,335. That’s 3,604 more cases since yesterday. 227,780 are confirmed; 13,555 are probable.


 

Today’s report includes a backlog of 1,551 cases with collection dates going back to April.

 

The state is reporting 46 new deaths, bringing the total to 6,501 deaths. 6,231 are confirmed; 270 are probable.

 

The total of presumed recovered as of 11/30/20 is 202,891, which is 10,403 more than last week.


 

Lafourche Parish is reporting 4,882 cases. There are 4,447 confirmed and 435 probable. That’s 30 new cases since yesterday. They are reporting 141 deaths; 136 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 38.6% from the week prior, which was 5.70%.

 

Terrebonne Parish is reporting 4,637 cases. There are 4,405 confirmed and 232 probable. That’s 45 more cases since yesterday. They are reporting 138 deaths; 133 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 54.9% from the week prior, which was 5.20%. Total recovered is 3,764 as of 11/25/20.

 

Statewide, there are 1,288 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 134 are on ventilators. That’s 8 more patients since yesterday, and 6 more on ventilators.


 

The total of tests reported today is 3,618,895, which is 65,996 more tests than yesterday. There are 3,504,944 molecular tests and 113,951 antigen tests.

 

There have been a total of 65,420 tests in Lafourche (62,368 molecular and 3,052 antigen) and 62,780 tests in Terrebonne (60,920 molecular and 1,860 antigen). That’s 659 more tests in Lafourche and 637 more in Terrebonne since yesterday.
