AGE: 21

TOWN: Raceland

FAMILY: My dad is Ty Rivet, my mom is Jodie Rivet and my sister is Maegan Rivet.

PROFESSION: I am a student at Nicholls State University, and I plan to be a guide in the future, if not a pro bass fisherman.

HOBBIES: Hunting and fishing. I’m an outdoorsman. All of my hobbies revolve around that.

WHAT IS A TALENT YOU HAVE FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT: Well, I don’t brag much, but my fishing knowledge, I think, is very high and I think I can see myself going far with it in the future.

IF YOU HAD TO SPEND A YEAR ON A DESERTED ISLAND, WHAT ONE THING WOULD YOU TAKE ALONG: A fishing pole.

YOU’RE A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LOTTERY WINNER. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO: I’d pay off all my family’s debt and then buy myself a house, a new bass boat and start touring big bass tournaments to try and make it to the pros.

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL: There’s really not one particular person that’s my role model. My whole family is just so awesome, and I don’t mind one bit if I grow to be just like them.

IF YOU WERE A SUPERHERO, WHO WOULD YOU BE AND WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPER POWER BE: Well I guess Superman, so I can fly. That would allow me to save some gas money. While I’m at it, I might as well go ahead and save the world, too, right?

TV SHOW GUILTY PLEASURE: The Walking Dead

PROUDEST MOMENT: Making it to the Bassmaster’s Collegiate National Championships with my girlfriend Allyson Marcel. We did great. We finished third.

WHAT’S ON YOUR NIGHTSTAND: My charger and a handful of baits that I always leave in my pockets.

HOW DO YOUR FRIENDS DESCRIBE YOU: They say that I fish too much.

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM ADVENTURE: Going to a place where I can hunt and fish all day with my family, friends and girlfriend and not have to worry about anything.

I WISH I COULD DO __________ BETTER: Figure out how not to get women mad at me. I don’t always do so well at that one.

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM JOB: Being a professional fisherman.

AS A CHILD, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?: I wanted to be a professional fisherman and/or a hunting guide.

WHAT WAS YOUR BEST GIFT EVER? Being given the motivation and the drive from my friends and family to start the Nicholls Bass Team.
