From TPSO:

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff, Tim Soignet, said that an altercation at a local high school resulted in multiple students being arrested. On Tuesday 1-26-2021 The School Resource Officer at H.L. Bourgeois was notified of a large disturbance occurring outside of the school. This occurred at dismissal time for the day. The Deputy responded to the area he was advised this disturbance was occurring.

The deputy observed a large group of students involved in a physical altercation. The Deputy along with some school staff were able to gain control of this situation and end the fight. Some of the students involved were arrested at that time.

This investigation continued after all students left the school for the day. Additional students involved in this incident have since been identified and arrested.

This is still an ongoing investigation. Additional students may be arrested.

As of this time five juveniles have been charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting and Inciting A Riot. Tyrese Starks (18-year-old) is the only adult involved who has been identified as of this time. He was charged with Rioting.
Sheriff Soignet said, “this type of behavior will not be tolerated. We will not allow the kids who are at school to learn and be productive to be subjected to this type of behavior.”
