One person was injured in a crash at the Rouses Market on St. Charles Street in Houma around 12 p.m. today,  a spokesperson with the Houma Fire Department confirmed with the Times.


A vehicle hit one of the steel poles and a pile of firewood outside of the Rouses, he said, and didn’t hit the actual building.

The two people in the vehicle were not injured, he said, but a person was hit and received minor injuries.
