A meeting will be held today to discuss issues regarding oysters.
The Louisiana Oyster Task Force is meeting today to discuss the future of oysters in the area, at 1pm, in Government Tower’s council room, today, March 4th.
“This is made up of industry members as well as state agency officials,” said Renee LeBreton. “They address an array of things affecting our industry.”
The group acts as an advisory body to officials such as, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and others, who seek a knowledge and understanding about the oyster industry and how legislative decisions may affect it.
