There are widespread power outages already in advance of Tropical Storm Barry.
In Lafourche Parish, more than 5,000 customers are without power – mostly in southern Lafourche Parish from Cut Off to the south.
In Terrebonne, there are more than 2,000 customers affected by multiple widespread outages.
Entergy’s website said they have increased their ground workers to fight through the outages.
