From the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office around 2:30 p.m.:
A sinkhole has developed in the southbound lanes of LA 3235 just north of the Town of Golden Meadow limits.
Both lanes are shut down at this time.
Motorists traveling southbound on LA 3235 should detour to LA 1 via LA 3162 to avoid the area.
