Some Thibodaux schools to be dismissed early Friday due to low water pressure

From the Lafourche Parish School District: 

Thibodaux Area Schools Notification:

Currently, the City of Thibodaux is responding to a water line leak at the intersection of South Acadia Rd. and Martin Luther King Dr. As a result, we are experiencing extremely low pressure and school restrooms are unable
to function.

The following schools are affected and will be dismissed accordingly:
10:15 a.m. Thibodaux High School
11:00 a.m. East Thibodaux Middle School, West Thibodaux Middle School
11:45 a.m. Thibodaux Elementary, C. M. Washington Elementary, W. S.
Lafargue Elementary

Earlier today, the City of Thibodaux announced that everyone receiving City water is now under a BOIL ADVISORY, effective immediately. The BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect for at least 48 hours.
