August 25, 2011The St. Mary Parish Council will host a public meeting tonight in the parish council room on the courthouse fifth floor in Franklin at 5:45 p.m.
The purpose of the public meeting will be to receive comments on an ordinance that would authorize St. Mary Parish to enter into an agreement with Margaret Judice et al concerning the use of an adjacent wall between properties owned by St. Mary Parish.
A second ordinance open for public comment involves a pay per diem motion with members of the St. Mary Board of Adjustment and St. Mary Parish Planning and Zoning Commission.
The public hearing is scheduled to take place prior to the council’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m.
