March 21, 2012Tickets are available for a barbecue lunch to benefit the rebuilding of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and School building.
The church and lower school building were destroyed in a fire Nov. 11, 2010. All proceeds from the lunch go toward the rebuilding effort.
A meal will include a leg quarter, beans, cole slaw and bread for $10. Tickets will only be sold in advance, beginning March 19. Meals can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18 at 726 Belanger St. (recommending drive toward Barrow Street from Gabasse); delivery also will be available.
