Ashleigh Rhodes

“My name is Ashleigh Rhodes, and I am currently a senior at Terrebonne High School. I can honestly say that I love everything about school. While a student at THS, I have been blessed to have some of the most outstanding teachers, coaches and counselors assist me on my academic path. It is hard to pick my favorite subject because all of my teachers have made the learning experience so fun and rewarding. If I had to choose one subject, it would have to be History. I love to learn about the past and relate it to current events. Another thing I love about school is all of the extra-curricular activities that are available to students at Terrebonne High. I am currently senior class Vice-President and I have been actively involved in Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, Beta Club and Varsity Cheerleading for three years. The passion I have for cheerleading has inspired me to become a volunteer cheer coach for young girls where I strive to not only encourage them to become better athletes, but also empower them to become better leaders and reach their full potential in life. Through this job, I have been able to teach young girls from all types of backgrounds, and I have unfortunately been able to witness the negative effects that poor family lives and situations have on children first-hand. This experience has caused me to discover my aspiration in life: to become a child advocacy attorney and fight for the fair treatment of all children.”
