“Something that sets me a part from my peers is that I love learning and going to school. I even miss it in the summer! I enjoy Advanced Math and Bible classes, but my favorite class is English. I enjoy studying literature and reading in my free time. I also enjoy singing in choir and I participate in District Honor Choir and Omaggio Community Chorus at Nicholls State University. I enjoy playing the piano and have done so at various music festivals and church events. I have also been a part of various worship teams. Another pastime I enjoy is painting and drawing. Most of all, my passion is getting to know others and developing friendships with them. I practice this by being an active member of my youth group and by leading a Bible study for my peers at school. I hope to be a youth mentor at my church once I graduate to be better prepared for a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.”
