“My two favorite school subjects are Philosophy and English. I love Philosophy not only because it challenges the common person to think deeply about things they would otherwise not consider but that it helps bring to light common threads between things we do not see by ourselves and English because I enjoy the flow of language and think it is fascinating that the words we speak everyday hold so much power. I have always been passionate about photography. I have read many books and have taken many courses on the subject and often go out once every few weeks to take portraits with friends. Some sports I participate in are volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and mixed martial arts. I was a student of Martial Arts Studio for 8 years. During this time I earned my black belt as well as assisted teaching classes and taught a few classes on my own. I’m very interested in graphic design and help run my youth groups social media pages by creating graphics and picture content. My favorite way to serve is by going on a yearly mission trip to New York City. Each year I get to see such amazing growth in the church and community we partner with.”
