‘Houma’s Where the Heart Is’ mass distribution event set for Saturday

Tide “Loads of Hope” is in Cut Off today, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18, in the Walmart parking lot located at 16759 LA-3235.
They will be on location until 3 p.m. today and will be available on Sept. 18 starting at 10 a.m. Residents can drop off clothing to be washed free of charge.
Loads of Hope’s mission is to clean clothes for families in need and give them a sense of normalcy. It was started in 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina and is powered by Matthew:25 Ministries which is a top-ranked international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization.
