The Lafourche Parish Interagency Crisis Management Unit will be conducting a tactical training today (August 27, 2024) from 8am – 5pm at the Cut Off Youth Center.
Residents in this area will see a large presence of deputies and officers from multiple jurisdictions along with the LPSO Mobile Command Vehicle. They will be tactically equipped and will be using simulated ammunition during portions of the training.
LPSO is alerting the public so you can avoid the area and so you are not alarmed by the large presence of law enforcement officers. This is only a training exercise.
