According to multiple sources, the U.S. Senate unanimously voted in favor of the Sunshine Protection Act. This bill will make daylight saving time permanent.
While the bill still has to be approved by House of Representatives before it can be signed into law, it would end the time change from daylight saving to standard time. The change would not take place until November 2023.
