Traffic going to the International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo on Thursday night might be thick at the Leeville Toll Plaza.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD) announced today that they will be performing camera maintenance work on TAG lag 2 of the Leeville Toll Plaza from 8-9 p.m. on Thursday.

During that time, DOTD employees will direct all traffic to utilize Cash Lane 1. Then, from 9-10 p.m., Cash Lane 1 will close for the same maintenance and all traffic will be asked to proceed through Tag Lane 2.

Customers without tags will pay the toll all the same during these lane closures.

Officials with Port Fourchon warned this afternoon that this work may cause delays to those with interests in Port Fourchon. The port urges workers to please plan accordingly with the understanding that IF adjustments are necessary this work could extend to midnight.
