Some Vandebilt Catholic High School male students didn’t shave for an entire month — and for a good reason.

They were able to donate $400 to the nonprofit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) as part of No Shave November.

Participants were able to raise money by purchasing bracelets in exchange for not having to shave for one month.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The mission of organization is to “cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”
