Today, the Louisiana Department of Health is reporting the total number of cases has risen to 251,123. That’s 3,939 more cases since Friday. 235,869 are confirmed; 15,254 are probable.

 

The state is reporting 36 new deaths, bringing the total to 6,584 deaths. 6,309 are confirmed; 275 are probable.

 

The total of presumed recovered as of 11/30/20 is 202,891, which is 10,403 more than last week.


 

Lafourche Parish is reporting 5,086 cases. There are 4,596 confirmed and 490 probable. That’s 85 new cases since Friday. They are reporting 142 deaths; 137 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 38.6% from the week prior, which was 5.70%.

 

Terrebonne Parish is reporting 4,824 cases. There are 4,531 confirmed and 293 probable. That’s 81 more cases since yesterday. They are reporting 140 deaths; 135 are confirmed and 5 are probable. Percent positivity for the week of Nov. 19-25 is 7.90%, up 54.9% from the week prior, which was 5.20%. Total recovered is 3,764 as of 11/25/20.

 

Statewide, there are 1,392 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 162 are on ventilators. That’s 35 more patients since Friday, and 8 more on ventilators.


 

The total of tests reported today is 3,717,930, which is 45,248 more tests than Friday. There are 3,592,829 molecular tests and 125,101 antigen tests.

 

There have been a total of 67,576 tests in Lafourche (64,128 molecular and 3,448 antigen) and 65,126 tests in Terrebonne (62,930 molecular and 2,196 antigen). That’s 956 more tests in Lafourche and 1,224 more in Terrebonne since Friday.
