Abbey Claire Theriot, 24, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, March 14.
She is survived by her son, Landon Janez Lapeyrouse; her mother and companion, Sophie Theriot and Clark Guidry; her father and fiancee’, E.J. Theriot and Sandy Toups; brother, Aaron Theriot and companion, Crystal Duplantis; sister, Emily Theriot and companion, Anthony Lara; her nieces and nephews, Alanah, Rylee and Devin; and her grandparents, Imelda Pellegrin, E.J. and Renda Theriot; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Myron Pellegrin Sr.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking, playing the guitar, drawing and playing music with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chase Bank in Abbey Theriot’s name.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with a mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
