Ada Liberty “Libby” Ledet, 95, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Mrs. Ledet was always known for doing things her way and everyone loved her for it. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Sea. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 96 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4222. She played Santa Claus for 13 years at the Morgan City Healthcare Center. She was an avid bingo player, loved going to the casino and was a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, George and Malcolm Percle, Anna Luc, Nelwyn LaHoste, Lynette Davis, Joseph and Katherine Roy, Shirley Frank and Mary Andreson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ada LeBoeuf; husband, Clifford Ledet; and brothers, Joseph, Ernest and Herman LeBoeuf.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 2, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3 at Twin City Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
