Adam Ernest Verdin, 69, a native and resident of Dulac, La. died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 10:31 p.m.
He is survived by his companion, Mary Naquin; one son, Ernest Naquin; two step-sons, Simon and Darren Naquin; three step-daughters, Debra Naquin, Charlene Verdin, and Norma Naquin; five brothers, Paul, Matthew, Michael, Jessie, and Richard Verdin; two sisters, Rita Irma Billiot and Juanita Agnes Gonzales; 17 step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Libby Marie Foret Verdin; one great-grandchild, Carey Dehart, Jr.; five brothers, T-John, Linwood, Wilson, Wilbert, and Jeffrey Verdin; and three sisters, Theresa Verdin Billiot.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 16, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and Wednesday, October 17, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
