Adam Russell “Poppie” Weber, 88, a resident of Vacherie, La. died Thursday, December 20, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Weber; two sons, Allen Weber, Sr. and his wife Beryl and Wayne Weber; two daughters, Conchita Weber and Cheryl and her husband Louis; one sister, Jessie Weber; one daughter-in-law, Harriet Weber; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Mary Weber; one son, Raleigh Weber; one daughter, Maxine Weber; four sisters; one brother; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.Adam was a devout Catholic. He was a retired sugar-cane farmer.
He is buried in St. James Catholic Church Cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
