Adele Loupe Savoie, 97, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Friday, April 10, at 8:25 a.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana M. Savoie and husband Martin DeMatteo; brother, Johnny Loupe; sisters, Eve Chauvin and Rita Bonvallian; daughter-in-law, Joyce Savoie; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris J. Savoie; parents, Joseph and Bertha Orgeron Loupe; and sons, Jerry A. Savoie and Richard J. Savoie and wife Audrey.
She was a devoted homemaker and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
