Documenting wells leads to cleanup
September 27, 2011Adolph “Bernie” Folse, 55, a native and resident of Grand Isle, La., died at 7:06 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011.
Mr. Folse was an avid hunter and fisherman and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Olga Folse; son, Bernard (Kristy) Folse; daughters, Tiffany (Daniel) Borne and Jasmine Folse; brother, Raymond Jr. (Cherly) Folse; sisters, Eva (Artie) Bradberry, Myra (Barry) Kirkley and Sherry-Ann Lee; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Folse Sr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Folse and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Santiny; and one niece.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
