Many in water’s path uninsured for flooding

May 27, 2011Adrian Anthony Authement, 77, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Mr. Authement was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion and V.F.W.
He is survived by his sons, Rodney (Juanita), Corey (Loleta) and Randy Authement; sister, Jeanette (Steven) Stringer; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Kandace, Anjelle, Whitney, Corey Jr. and Krizya Authement; nine great-grandchildren, Natalie, Christian, Madison, Brennan, Connor, Kaylee and Kynzie Authement, Alexis Adams and Trent Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Zeldia Marie Prosperie Authment; and brothers, Leroy and Norman Authement.
He is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
