Agnes Knightshead

Agnes “Mompsie” Knightshead, 97, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 22, 2010.

Mrs. Knightshead was a homemaker and a member of Residence Baptist Church and the Union Benevolent Society.

She is survived by her son, Herman Knightshead; daughters, Gale (Henry) Castle, Dotsie Smith and Jackie Knightshead; sisters, Dartsy Jeff and Albertha Robinson; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is buried at Bisland Cemetery.
