Albert Joseph Loupe, 88, a resident of Larose, La., died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014.
Mr. Loupe was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cattle farming and gardening. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his sons, Vern (Mary) and Myron (Debbie) Loupe; daughters, Cindy (Farrell) Schexnayder, Lisa (Robby) Plaisance and Kandra (Rudy) Ledet; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Loupe; parents, Edward Sr. and Amelia Loupe; brother, Edward Loupe Jr.; and sister, Lou Emma Matherne.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
