Albert “Calbutte” Paul Sander, 79, a native of Montegut, La. and resident of Houma, La. died Friday, October 12, 2007, at 3:20 p.m.


He is survived by his three daughters, Darlene Dupre and her husband Grant, Patti Carter and her husband Paul, and Tammy Babin and her husband Craig; one sister, Eula Robicheaux; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Ann Duplantis Sanders; and his brother Carrol Sanders.

Albert was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church. He served his country in the United State Army during World War II. He was a member of the United Veterans League, the Knights of Columbus Dulac Council No. 7722 4th degree, and the Evergreen Lions Club.

He is buried in Magnolia Cemetery.
