Alcee Paul Babin, 100, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Bessie Legendre; four grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Champagne Babin; his parents, Louis and Armantine Robichaux Babin; four brothers, Louis Jr., Sidney, Alcide and Alcest Babin; three sisters, Marie Duet, Toot Foret, and Blanche Champagne.
He was a parishoner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
