Aldon Joseph Daigle, 84, a native of Bell River, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Monday, April 30, 2012.


Mr. Daigle enjoyed his retirement, spending it with his family after more than 30 years of service to McDermott. He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed.


He is survived by his wife, Linda Daigle; daughters, Nell Dore, Melissa (David) Trahan, Clyteal Hatch and Camille (Myers) Withall; sons, Noah Bergeron and Nelson (Missy) Turner; brother, Bobby Daigle; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mable Daigle; daughter, Gail Barrilleaux; first wife, Vida Daigle; brothers, Philo and Shelby Daigle; sister, Enez Rhodes; and one grandchild.

Entombment was at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Twin City)
