Alea Dupre

Alea “Totsie” Matherne Dupre, 82, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 3:55 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010.

She is survived by daughters, Diane (Clarence Jr.) Foret, Dolores (Roland) Gamberella, Shirley (Jeffrey) Trahan, Nancy (David) Boquet, and Melissa (Darren) Robichaux; sons, Arthur Jr. (Veronica), Peter, Thomas (Lillian) and Ricky Dupre; brothers, John and Oliver Matherne; sisters, Lynn Chafin and Rosalie Pace; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Dupre is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.
