Aleeta T. Woods, 76, a native and resident of Gray, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.
Ms. Woods was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church and was a retired schoolteacher with 30 years of service in both Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Michael) Sneeze, Tara (Austin “Tony”) Hall, Wandra Ingram and Lori (Kenneth) Carter; son, Joey Woods; brother, John (Patricia) Tucker; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Woods; parents, James and Nancy Tucker; four brothers, Bernard, Wilbur, Ralph and Alton Tucker; and three sisters, Mildred St. Julien, Pearl Brown and Claudette Brown.
