Alexander “A.J.” Poche, 84, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a resident of Kraemer, La., died at 5:50 a.m. Saturday, November 22.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Eleanor Kraemer Poche; four sons, Albert, Clayton, Charles Phillip and Perry Poche; five daughters-in-law, Linda Patin Poche, Cookie Fabich Granier, Beth Sison Poche, Deborah Dufrene Poche and Rebecca Hardesty Poche; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Poche and Judith Bourgeois Poche; and seven siblings, Enola Templet Guillot, Junius Poche, Earl Poche, Harry Poche, Hattie Olivier Poche, Whitney Poche and Berman Poche.
Avery special thanks from A.J.’s wife, sons and daughters-in-law to his granddaughter Angelique Poche.
He was buried at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
