Alfred LaGarde, 65, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011.
He is survived by his companion, Victoria Sponner; daughters, Ava Anderson, and Lorraine and Belinda Johnson; brother, Louis (Diane) LaGarde; sisters, Fannie Calloway and Linda LaGarde; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Zenobia LaGarde Lyons; one son, Alfred Johnson; and one sister, Geraldine Celestine.
He is buried at Southdown Cemetery. (Community)
