Alice Claire Testroet, 85, a native of Gregory, S.D., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Mrs. Testroet was a full time homemaker who opened her home to family and friends providing a loving environment for all. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church and an active member of the Texaco wives club. She especially enjoyed playing cards and dancing.
She is survived by her sisters, Vivian Steven and Zeta Graham; children, William (Pamela) Testroet, Barbara (Bobby) Viteaux and Susan (Kelly) Bergeron; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Alice Moffitt; husband, Charles Testroet; and 11 siblings.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Annunziata Catholic Church with mass to follow. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. (Chauvin)
