Protection vital for future, locals tell Mabus

Alice Roth Frost, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.
Mrs. Frost was a charter member of TaWaSi Club and she loved to garden.
She is survived by her sons, Cambron “Cam” (Dianne), James “Jim” (Joyce), William “Bill” (Eileen) and Allen Frost; daughters, Lisa (Everett) Miller and Martha (Joseph “Joe”) Lindley; sister, Betty Hebert; sister-in-law, Tena Frost Kron; 15 grandchildren, Bryan and Adam Kyzar, Jeffrey, Alison, Matthew, Michelle, Jill, Max, Britton, Henry, Allen, Sarah and Andrew Frost, and Jacob and Evan Lindley; and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Raymond Frost.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Cambron Frost; parents, Ben Sr. and Edna Rhodes Roth; one brother, Ben Roth Jr.; one sister, Emmy Staples; and one grandson, Jeffrey Frost.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity.
