Alice Hebert Babin, , 94, a native of White Castle, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012.
Mrs. Babin was a retired employee of the Lafourche Parish School Board. Her loving and kind spirit will be missed.
She is survived by her brother, Allen Hebert Sr.; and sisters, Virginia Giroir and Linda Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaise Babin; parents, Louis and Anna Hebert; and brothers, Alvin and Alfred Hebert.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Ourso)
