Lenten Gumbo served for 20 years, still going strong
March 19, 2010Aline Stogner Fussell, 75, a native of Dexter, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Mrs. Fussell was a member of the Terrebonne Parish Coastal Rescue. Her family extends its appreciation to St. Catherine’s Hospice of LaPlace.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Linda) Fussell; brother, Theodore Roosevelt Stogner Jr.; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Pamela and Karen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Earl Fussell; parents, Theodore Sr. and Bessie Bennett Stogner; brothers, William and Earl Stogner; and sisters, Earnestine Taylor, Dorothy Stafford and Maxine Hines.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family or the American Diabetes Association are preferred.
She is buried at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
