Allen Joseph Melancon, 87, a native of Donaldsonville, La. and resident of Houma, La., died at 5:18 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016.
Mr. Melancon was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Melancon; daughters, Jeanne (Benny) Rhodes, Denise (Pete) Benoit and Charlotte (Dirk) Day; brother, Paul (Annalee) Melancon, Jr.; sisters, Mildred (Leonard) Smith and Dorothy Charlet; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
