Aloisia Maria Wuhrl Edkins, 82, a native of Straubing, Germany, and resident of Bourg, La., died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George Edkins Sr.; sons, Claude (Cindy) and George (Theresa) Edkins; daughter, Yvonne (Reggie Jr.) Dupre; brothers, Adolph and Kurt Wuhrl; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Maria Wuhrl; stepfather, Ivan Omercen; and daughter, Ruth Dupre.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Bourg. (Samart)
