Alton Bush Sr., 67, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Gray, La., died Sunday, June 29.
He is survived by his two sons, Dewayne and Alton Bush Jr. of New Orleans, La.; one daughter, Debra Bush of New Orleans; three brothers, Arthur Bush Jr., Albert and Chris Johnson; four sisters, Catherine J. Batiste, Sandra J. Carter, Janet J. Thomas and Margaret Johnson; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle Lewis Bush Johnson and Arthur Bush Sr.; and two stepchildren, Lisa and Joyce Bush.
He was buried at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
